Sabi Announces Brain-to-Text Cap Capable of Predicting Keystrokes
Sabi has raised a $50 million seed round led by Khosla Ventures for the Sabi Cap, a non-invasive baseball cap that reads brain signals through hair and says it can already predict a wearer’s next three to four keystrokes. We explain the custom EEG chip and Brain Foundation Model, test what keystroke prediction really proves, compare the cap with Meta’s Brain2Qwerty and implanted BCIs, track how the plan changed since April, and set out the neural data privacy questions to ask.
