Meta Sued Over Training Data for Its AI and Face-Recognition Systems
A proposed class action filed in Chicago on 4 September 2026 says Meta harvested Facebook and Instagram photos to build the NameTag face-recognition feature for its smart glasses and to train the Emu and Muse Image models.
